Boeing A2 Stearman Copper loose

This model was built as a demo piece for Breitling, as their display aircraft at the time.
It’s a basic frame A2 in size and so is a stunning piece, allowing for some detail to be applied to the
engine shape. Thin bracing wires complete the model, which has then been lacquered to preserve it.

The inner framed featured colours from the aircraft, with the Breitling logos also formed in metal
and plated in nickel and gold. This was to show what the aircraft model could look like in these
metals.
A plaque simply designating the aircraft type precisely finished off the inner section of the work. A
tasteful wooden frame to the rim accentuates the antique look of the model.
The reflected image shows the intricate bracing wires for the aircraft, as well as the engine detail.
